It sounds to me like you are on the right path to get to your goal; prayer, scripture study, and attending church are some the best ways we can come closer to God and be worthy to enter the temple. I was baptised in March of 2003, but have not gone as far as receiving my endowments at the temple. I have had some set backs in my journey understanding gospel truths as I was raised in a Southern Baptist Church. Just got confused along the way is all. I do read scripture and pray and attend church once in a while for sacrament meeting, class, and women’s relief society. Not often enough for sure. This was very helpful to me to read.
